Rishabh kumara wins State School's U-14 championship by scoring 6 out of six rounds.
He gets to qualify for the upcoming National schools championship in Aurangabad.

Amogh Bisht scored 6 out of 9 rounds and finished a respectable 8th rank in Asian U-8 chess championship which was held in Srilanka in April 2019.
Amogh's performance also helped team India to clinch the Gold medal in Under 8 category. |
Ojas Kulkarni scores maiden International Master Norm |

Ojas Kulkarni scored maiden International Master Norm at Ile de France 2018 Championship held between 14th and 21st July at Paris.
He scored 5.5 points out of 9 rounds (1.5 against 3 GMs, 2 against IMs, 2 against FMs) with a rating performance of 2488.
He also increased 31 rating points in this tournament.
He needs 2 more Norms to become an International master. |
Amogh Bisht wins Under - 7 years National Championship for boys-2018

Amogh Bisht , student at Karnataka School Of Chess, Marathhalli( AECS layout) branch, has won the Under 7 years National Championship for boys-2018 . He dominated the event and won the tournament by a clear half point margin by scoring 9.5 points out of 11 rounds. Jaivardhan Raj of Maharashtra and Ayushman Mohanty of Orissa won second and third places respectively.
Due to this achievement, Amogh will be officially representing India in the Asian under-8 championship as well as World under-8 championship in 2019.

Raghavendra V, who takes care of our Marathhalli branch should get all the credits for moulding Amogh into a real National Champion.
Amogh is a student at our Marathhalli branch for last three years. He attends tournament batch of the academy three times a week . Tournament batch consists of only serious players and handled by Raghavendra himself. Once in a while, Amogh also takes one to one classes with Raghavendra.
Credits should also go to his parents , Manish Bisht and Kavitha Bisht for supporting his talent.

Ojas Kulkarni wins the title : Ojas Kulkarni participated in Karnataka State Under 17 Chess Championship from 5 to 7 August 2016 at Shivamogga. Total 92 players from all over Karnataka participated in this event of nine rounds.Ojas playing at ELO 2301 was the top seed and the defending champion of the last years Under 17 championship held at Mysore. Is is notable that scoring 8 points Ojas won the championship and retained the title. |

Ojas Kulkarni has jumped from ELO 2000 to 2405 in four tournaments all part of Catalonian Circuit in Spain.Towards the end of June, Ojas travelled to Spain to play in the Catalonian circuit, where he competed in four tournaments. He increased 143 Elo in Montcada, 54 Elo in Barbera del Valles, 98 in Sant Marti and 103 Elo in Sitges tournament taking his rating beyond 2400. |

Top 2 girls shall represent Karnataka in the upcoming National
U-13 in Gujrat in July 2016.

Ojas Wins second title in two weeks. He clinched state Under-17 Chess Championship in Mysore by scoring 7.5 points out of 9 rounds. He shall represent state in the upcoming National Under 17 championship to be held at Bangalore. |
Karnataka State Under 25 Championship, 24 August 15 |

Ojas Kulkarni of KSC becomes Karnataka State U-25 Champion-2015 which concluded at Gulbarga on 24-08-2015. Ojas was the top seed in the tournament with ELO rating 1946. After winning the first five matches,a draw and again two wins he scored 7.5 out of 8 rounds. Thus Ojas was able to maintain his top seed and emerged as the champion of the tournament. He gets to represent Karnataka in the upcoming National U-25 Championship to be held at Bihar in October 2015. |
